Overlooking the heart of Belgravia, the Penthouse at The Peninsula London branded residences is a masterclass in monumental elegance and dark, tonal layering. The design shifts away from traditional coastal lightness, instead embracing a "noir" aesthetic defined by high-gloss black marbles, deep-veined walnut millwork, and polished bronze accents.
Every volume is calculated to reflect the city’s skyline, creating a dramatic, nocturnal atmosphere where the boundaries between the architectural envelope and the custom furniture are intentionally blurred. It is a residence designed for the ultimate urbanist—a space of profound quiet,

The residence features distinct "His" and "Hers" bath suites, each a study in monochromatic contrast:
The "Hers" Suite: A luminous, ethereal grotto sculpted from white Statuario marble. A monolithic vanity floats against a mirrored wall, flooded with natural light from the wrap-around terrace.
The "His" Suite: A bold, high-contrast sanctuary. Mirrored black cabinetry and dark stone walls frame a central, book-matched marble shower, creating a sharp, masculine aesthetic that feels both private and powerful.
Designed for high-drama hosting, the dining room features a monumental dark stone table that comfortably seats twelve. Above, a cascading crystal-shards chandelier provides a fractured, ethereal light, while the backdrop, a large-scale abstract triptych, adds a layer of gestural energy to the otherwise disciplined, rhythmic millwork.
For evening entertaining, the private bar is an intimate, jewel-box space. A monolithic green marble bar top rests on a fluted stone base, set against backlit crystal shelving. The mirrored ceiling and dark fabric wall panels ensure the atmosphere remains moody, focused entirely on the craft of the cocktail and the glimmer of the city lights.
